Throughout the Pradakshina, chant “Yoga Yoga Yogeshwaraya”

How to get there :

Isha Yoga Center is situated 30 km west of Coimbatore at the foothills of the Velliangiri Mountains. Coimbatore, an industrial city is well connected by Air, Rail & Road.

Air: There are regular flights from Coimbatore to Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi, and Bangalore.

Train: Train services are available from all major cities in India.

Road: One can travel by public transport or can take a state transport bus from Gandhipuram, which sends out a bus every 45 minutes to the gate of the complex. Regular Taxi services are also available from Coimbatore to the Complex.

From the Dhyanlinga Temple, you can walk to the sculpture which is a 7 minutes short walk. However if you are not willing to walk, there are modified bullock carts and open rickshaw  facilities available which ferry you to Adiyogi.

The best option is always a private vehicle as the distance from Bangalore to Adiyogi is 365 km. As it may take 34 hours at the Isha Centre, it is better to plan a one-night stay at the Isha Center only, they have a good facility there.

It is suggested that one should avoid Amavasya and Purnima days as the place gets really crowded because of the Velliagiri Shiva Temple.

Karmanaye Vadhikaraste- A Timeless Lesson From The Bhagwad gita

“कर्मण्येवाधिकारस्ते मा फलेषु कदाचन । मा कर्मफलहेतुर्भुर्मा ते संगोऽस्त्वकर्मणि ॥” One of the most  important verses  of the  Bhagavad Gita ,  Karmanye Vadhikaraste Ma Phaleshu Kadachana,  was spoken by Lord Krishna to Arjun on the battlefield of Kurukshetra during the epic Mahabharata. Let’s see what does this mean:  Karmanye Vadhikaraste , Ma phaleshou Kada chana — You have the right to perform your actions, but you are not entitled to the fruits of the actions. Ma Karma Phala Hetur Bhurmatey Sangostva Akarmani — Do not let the fruit be the purpose of your actions, therefore you won’t be attached to not doing your duty. Indeed, this message comes from  Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 2, Verse 47 , where Lord Krishna advises Arjun to focus on his duty without attachment to the results. This profound teaching emphasizes the importance of  selfless action  and is central to the philosophy of  Karma  Yoga  — performing one’s duty without ...

People who are over 60 think they’re old. I’ve heard it said, “You’re only as old as you think you are if you didn’t know when you were born”.
