Live Life to the Fullest as you get it only once,”–Naresh V

“Be Positive and Live Life to the Fullest,”- Naresh V

“Your time is limited, don’t waste it living someone’s life. Don’t let the voice of others’ opinions drown your inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition” – Steve Jobs.

These are some truths of life as told by the world’s renowned people. It is to encourage, many people who are feeling let down, feel lonely and self-pity and depressed to an extent where life means nothing to them and in the process, they develop suicidal tendencies, and counsel them to live their life to the fullest.

How do you feel today? Do you like what you are doing? Are you living your best life?

If the answer to the above is a NO, then that means you are not living your life to the fullest. You deserve nothing but the best. For the last few months since I started pursuing my passion for writing, I’ve been living life to the fullest filled with joy and passion. It is a wonderful experience. When I started writing in Jan 2020, I used to get very few visitors on my blog page, but that did not dishearten or deter me from pursuing what was giving me self satisfaction and pleasure in life.

Actually, I do not write for traffic on my blogs but for self-satisfaction and as I want to live my life caring less for the recognition. Recognition is everybody’s dream but I feel a few educated and understanding readers are enough for encouragement.

I give below a few tips that I use to live my best life and hope that if they will help you too to do the same. So friends try to follow the following tips and have the best of life :

1)    Start every day fresh: Don’t repent what happened yesterday. We never forget whatever had happened even a week, month, year, or even decades back. Forget it and start afresh. Nature also helps us understand this – look at the sun; it goes down every day only to rise again the next day. Light always follows dark. Darkness is not there to stay for long.

2)  Be Yourself: Stop trying to be somebody you consider your ideal. Everybody is made different. So BE YOURSELF and don’t try to copy anybody. YOU ARE THE BEST.

3)    Follow your passion: Stop worrying about people, whether or not they will like it, follow your passion. Do what you want to do and do whatever pleases you. Like it is said in Hindi “Kuchh to log kahenge, logon ka kaam hai kehna” meaning ‘People will say something or the other, it is their job to say’.

4)    Discover the purpose of your life: Set the mission statement of your life, one that will help you live your life to the fullest.

5)    Stop looking towards others: Stop waiting for others to do something for you, instead, take a lead in doing that work.

6)    What vs How: Think about what you want in life before thinking about how to do it. Until and unless you know what you want in life how can you strive to achieve it. You can achieve anything in life if you set your heart to it.

7)    Discover Yourself: Discover your values. Sit alone for some time and know yourself.

8)    Be positive: Look at a glass half-filled with water. A negative person will say, it is half empty. But a positive person will look at the positive side and say that it is half-filled. If you can see the positive side of everything you’ll lead a much richer life than others.

9)    Be a believer in yourself: believe in your abilities. When you believe in yourself, you are accepting who you really are. You feel you can handle the world. Deep down inside you know you can do anything. If you don’t believe yourself how do you think others will believe you?

10) Forget Unhappy Past: Past grievances, complaints, disappointments, heartbreaks should be forgotten and you should move on with life

11)   Forgive and forget: Forgive those who have cheated you or harmed you by taking credit of your achievements. Forget their misdeeds and move ahead. Believe in God, He will take care of them. Forgiveness reduces stress, decreases Blood Pressure, and lowers your heart rate. Forgiveness can help you feel fulfilled and happy.

12)  Try to contact old friends: You must be having several friends presently, but reach out to an old childhood friend. You can share your past or childhood memories with him/her and this will make you happier in life.

13)   Spend more time with people you are compatible with e.g. successful, like-minded, and positive people and think about your growth.

14)   Go for a Date: go with someone whom you like or are compatible with. Pick them up and when you greet them, compliment them on. Compliments are always welcome. Go to a casual and chill atmosphere so that both can feel relaxed. Allow your date to talk more as it will keep them engaged and interested

15)   Give time to yourself: In this busy world and your busy schedule, take out a few moments for yourself – think about your goals, what you have achieved or not achieved. Be happy when you achieve a goal you have set for yourself. This will bring the greatest fulfillment and happiness in your life.

16)   Do your absolute best in whatever you do–Give your best to achieve the goals you have set for yourself, don’t leave any stone unturned to reach your aim

17)   Join the dance:  Don’t be averse to new ideas, adopt whatever new you can, don’t limit yourself. Let your mind be a center of new and innovative ideas. Accept the change.

18)    Be sure of what you want to achieve in life and keep working for the same: You may like to achieve many things in life–write a book, have a big house, feel good about your body, respect, fame, love, etc.etc . But you get nothing for free, you have to work for it and it may take years to achieve any goal, so don’t get disheartened and keep working for the same and ultimately you will succeed. Once you achieve your goal, your happiness will be unimaginable.

19)   Give more than you have received from the society at large. Society has given you a lot, now it is your turn to give back more than you have received from it. You should not be selfish in service. Giving back will not only make you a better person, but it will also help others.

20)   Learn to say thanks- let people who have helped you know that you are grateful and say ‘thank you’.  You will see what these ‘two words’ will result in.

21)   Have fun: go out for long drives, bathe in the rain, and sing at the top of your voice. Let yourself loose. Host a regular dinner party, coffee circle, book club or outdoor activity group. Do as many get-togethers as you can but in the current situation of the pandemic, follow safe social distancing and ENJOY LIFE. Do not break the Social Distancing Rules.

22)   Have faith in yourself and your strengths: ‘You need to have faith in yourself, too. Believe that you can set out to do what you want to accomplish. Believe that you have the skills and abilities to make something great — and if you don’t possess those things, believe that you’re capable of developing them so you can get to work.

23)   Take perfect care of your body: You get it only one. Eat proper food which is healthy, with plenty of fruits, vegetables, and proteins. Drink plenty of water and nutritious drinks. Exercise daily- according to various studies exercise helps you keep healthy, happier, and positive.

24)   Accept All: Be kind and courteous. Enjoy the company of others. ‘ Treat others as you would like them to treat you.’

25)   And last but not the least – LOVE LIFE.

Friends, I know these are very small things which all of us must be aware of but need somebody to remind us, in these tough times when most of us are in a deep depression because of the uncertainty of the pandemic. We have to sit at home perforce with no outings, social gatherings, and so on.

My suggestion would be: Enjoy Life Today, As If There Is No Tomorrow.

Ageing Gracefully

Ageing Gracefully " Ageing gracefully " may  mean  embracing the natural signs of  ageing  without visiting a certified plastic surgeon along the way. Ageing is inescapable, but it is also a glorious thing, you have done the work, you have learned many of life’s lessons now you can sit back and enjoy life without all that youthful angst and uncertainty. People who are over 60 think they’re old. I’ve heard it said, “You’re only as old as you think you are if you didn’t know when you were born”. In my opinion, 60 is the golden age. ‘Getting older doesn’t mean decline or despair. It’s a reason for celebration! There are plenty of ways we can age with grace, beauty, and joy. We can experience more happiness, more success, and get even better with age and experience.   I’ve heard stories of 101-year-old runners, 98-year-old yoga instructors, and plenty of other people who reinvent themselves, launch new careers and lead businesses well into their
