New facility by Railways

No need to get bored on long distance rail travel. Now enjoy movies , TV shows on trains. Railways has selected 4 trains - 3 premium long distance and one Air Conditioned local service of Mumbai, to have popular movies and TV shows during the journey, for On Demand services.

These 4 trains are Mumbai-New Delhi Rajdhani Express, Mumbai- Nizamuddin August Kranti Express, Dadar Terminus- Chennai Egmore -Chennai Express. Passengers of these trains and one Air Conditioned local service will be having high quality buffer free streaming of popular movies and TV shows.

These trains will be fitted with an onboard media service which will be preloaded that can be accessed through a mobile app.The passengers will be able to access apps on their phone, during their journey, which will be available for download free.

The contents  viz movies and TV shows will be made available in paid and unpaid formats and main aim of railways is to provide passengers with an option of onboard entertainment. .
